Sampak Garg is Senior Corporate Counsel and Director of Government Affairs with Juniper Networks. He coordinates the company’s views on and response to policy changes, briefs internal stakeholders on relevant policy issues, and serves as the company’s liaison to industry trade associations.
Prior to joining Juniper, Sampak worked as a Democratic Counsel on the House Rules Committee, shepherding legislation to the House floor. His portfolio included the Affordable Care Act, intellectual property reform, and the defense authorization bills. Before the Rules Committee, Sampak was Democratic Counsel to the House Judiciary Committee, where he was lead counsel for the PATRIOT Act, anti-terrorism law, patent reform, and copyright law. He also served as Democratic Counsel during the impeachment of President Clinton.
Sampak holds a JD from George Washington University Law School and a BA in Cell Biology from the University of California, Berkeley. His interests include non-fiction reading, martial arts, and biking.
