Yvonne Hsu

Yvonne Hsu has been with the National Council of State Housing Agencies as Senior Housing Policy Specialist for appropriations and HUD programs since 2020. She has extensive legislative and appropriations experience and has worked for Rep. Katherine Clark (D-MA) as part of her Democratic Caucus Vice Chair team and as senior advisor on the Transportation, Housing and Urban Development Appropriations Subcommittee.

She has also previously handled appropriations and worked in the district office of Rep. Adam Schiff (D-CA). Yvonne served as an Obama Administration political appointee at the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development Office of Fair Housing and Equal Opportunity and Office of Public Engagement.

Yvonne began her career in fair housing at the Housing Rights Center in Los Angeles. She holds a B.A. from the University of California, Riverside.
