Mr. Parikh represents clients in a wide range of government relations and public policy matters at all levels of the federal government. His public policy expertise spans financial services, technology and telecommunications, transportation and infrastructure, retail, budget and appropriations, domestic and international trade, and state government relations.
Most recently serving as the lead Democratic lobbyist at the National Association for Federal Credit Unions and previously as the Head of State & Local Affairs for the National Restaurant Association, Mr. Parikh, has a comprehensive understanding of the legislative process, which enables him to effectively assist clients in developing strategies for promoting, defeating or providing input on upcoming legislation. He regularly monitors and analyzes federal and state legislative and regulatory processes, leveraging this knowledge to formulate strategies that aid in the enactment of state and congressional legislation.
Prior to starting Significant Consulting LLC, Mr. Parikh worked with several consulting firms and served as a chief consultant on several political campaigns and to the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee and Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee Mr. Parikh got his start in Washington, DC by helping to develop and launch legislative tracking solutions for lobbyists and law firms.
Mr. Parikh is an active member of the community. He currently sits on the Board of the National Institute of Lobbying and Ethics and is a committee member for the American Society of Association Executives’ APAC Committee. Mr. Parikh is actively involved with collegiate leadership education and sits on the operating board for the Krach Transformational Leaders Workshop. In addition, Mr. Parikh is involved with the Sigma Chi Foundation and Sigma Chi Leadership Institute.
